WWE 2K15 PC supports modding

WWE 2K15 may be the series' PC debut, but it's already getting into the spirit of the platform.

WWE 2K15 does indeed support mods on PC, 2K's Marcus Stephenson has confirmed.

As Destructoid points out, this opens the door to all sorts of weird and wonderful things. The character editor that ships with WWE 2K15 is already pretty good, and has been put to use in creating a huge variety of awesome characters and scenarios. If modders can unlock and add to that power, it'll be a major boon for machinima creators, for a start.

The WWE license may make things a bit tricky, though; we can probably expect 2K to be a bit trigger happy on DCMA takedowns of mods that get into difficult legal territory.
