J-Stars Victory VS+ coming west in June - new trailer

J-Stars Victory VS+ will make the jump (see what I did there) to the west after all.

j-stars_victory_vs

J-Stars Victory VS+ is the western title for the fighting game which stars characters from a variety of Shonen Jump-published manga.

Bandai Namco has announced the fighter will release in Europe on June 26 and in the Americas on June 30, for PlayStation 3, PS4 and Vita.

Siliconera reports the Vita version will be digital only, and all versions have Japanese voiceovers only - which is probably fair enough, given a probable niche audience of hardcore anime fans, and the cost of localisation.

The western release is identical to the Japanese one in terms of characters and stages, but will not include the anime theme songs featured in the limited edition. It does include post-release balancing changes, and an Arcade mode with multiple difficulty and challenge modes.
