The idol JRPG was released in Japan on September 18, 2014 and will now be making its way west.

Omega Quintet stars five young women who sing so well, they are the only ones who can stop an entity called Beep from taking over the world.

Players take on the role of Takt who is both the bodyguard and manager of the Verse Maidens which feature: Otoha, Kyouka, Kanadeko, Nene and Aria.

Each girl will build up their strength in turn-based combat and each has their own special weapon ranging from from giant hammers to guns and if they take too much damage, a "Costume Break" will be called which "tears your idol’s clothes and drastically lowers their defense."

The game also contains PVS Mode, where acting as manager you can choreograph an idol performance and choose camera angles, who performs, what outfits they wear, etc.

Omega Quintet also supports the PlayStation Move controller.

The JRPG/idol simulation game will be released on PS4 April 28 in North America and April 29 in Europe.
