Five Nights at Freddy's dev surprises streamer with huge charity donation

Five Nights at Freddy's developer Scott Cawthon is a pretty generous guy.

Cawthon visited a Five Nights at Freddy's charity stream and dropped a whopping $250,000 donation in its coffers.

PlayerAttack reports the stream, hosted by YouTuber Dawko to raise money for St Jude Children's Research Hospital, had a goal of just $15,000.

Amazing scenes. Cawthon joins a number of indie devs who have given generously after striking it rich with phenomenally successful games; Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson is also known for dropping huge wads of cash on worthy causes.
