Steam and GOG cross-platform multiplayer added to AvP Classic 2000

Steam and GOG have announced Aliens vs Predator Classic 2000 owners will be able play multiplayer with each other across both platforms.

With the recent online multiplayer update for for AVP Classic 2000, Rebellion CEO Jason Kingsley has made good on his promise from June to offer cross-platform play between the Steam and GOG platforms.

Originally launched on Steam in 2010 and on GOG in 2014, AVP Classic 2000 was downloaded over 200,000 times as of October 2014 during the beta for GOG Galaxy.

GOG Galaxy was announced back in June 2014 by CD Projekt as a new, DRM-free online gaming platform which allows users of both GOG and Steam to play online together.
