Driveclub PS+ Edition is still coming, Sony says

Sony has said that work on Driveclub continues to prepare for the launch of the free, PlayStation Plus Edition of the game, and that it's definitely not cancelled.

Following comments made by SCEE president Jim Ryan yesterday about how the PS+ Edition of Driveclub may never see the light of day, Sony has clarified that the demo is in fact still coming.

"We are continually working on improving the server capacity to enable us to launch the PS Plus Edition as quickly as possible," a Sony spokesperson told Eurogamer.

"Although currently we do not have an update regarding the timing for the launch."

This is certainly more in line with recent comments made by developer Evolution that make it seem like we are getting closer to finally seeing it happen.
