Driveclub: "still a lot of server development needed for PS+ Edition," dev says

You'll still be waiting a while for the PlayStation Plus Edition of Driveclub, it would seem.

Driveclub developer Evolution Studios has revealed a tiny bit of detail about the promised, delayed, and seemingly forgotten PlayStation Plus Edition of the racer.

The PS+ Edition was supposed to be ready on the game's launch and would offer one location, India, and a number of cars as an extended demo.

The developer today answered one fan on Twitter who was curious why we've not heard anything about the free game even though the servers seem to be in good condition.

"We're getting there, but there's still a lot of server development needed to support the PS+ Edition," read the reply.

At least it will happen someday.
