Cities: Skylines release date accompanies new trailer

Cities: Skylines will enter the sadly under-crowded city building lists from next month.

Publisher Paradox Interactive wrote to let us know Cities: Skylines will release on Linux, Mac and PC on March 10.

Pre-purchase has opened, and getting in early will reward you with the following bonuses:

  • Five additional in-game items (Basketball Court, Botanical Gardens, Merry-go-round, Bouncy Castle, Dog Park)
  • Digital art book containing building blueprints and other original concept art
  • Four digital postcards

That's about all we know about it, to be honest. According to the press release, it features "massive maps" (take that, SimCity) and "expansive modding support", allowing you to design all the little bits and pieces you populate your metropolis with.

Well, glance over the trailer below. It doesn't look like this is related in any way to Cities Unlimited/XL/XXL, by the way - different developer, different publisher.
