Treyarch is teasing something to do with Zombies

Call of Duty: Black Ops and Black Ops 2 developer Treyarch is teasing some sort of announcement on Wednesday, and it has to do with zombies.

The developer took to Twitter to tease information of a live-stream that will take place this Wednesday, February 4.

As the hashtag reveals, this will be during the DICE summit, which takes place February 3-5. Teyarch was the first studio to bring Zombies mode into Call of Duty with World at War. Since then, it has been staple of Treyarch's Call of Dut(ies), and most recently, Sledgehammer Games' Advanced Warfare.

That being said, it would be pretty early for Activision or Treyarch to announce a new Call of Duty game, or even talk about one. Usually, that event is reserved for May. This could be a new spin-off series or just development talk about what the studio will bring with the next instalment of Zombies.

At any case, you'll be the first to know when we have any new information.

The D.I.C.E. summit (stands for Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) is an annual event where several game developers and executives host panels and discuss the production and business sides of the industry. Some publishing deals are known to start there.
