Dota 2's Shifting Snows update brings a touch of frost to the battlefield

Dota 2 has received a huge update, although we're yet to see any signs of an end-of-year event.

The Shifting Snows update does a lot of rebalancing, but the most obvious change is that winter has taken hold of the map.

Other changes include a wealth of new items in the store, and a special teleport effect for winners of those who placed in the second season of Fantasy Dota.

Otherwise, the biggest single3 change is a bevy of alterations to how alt-clicking works.

Hmm. No big seasonal event this year...? Well, the update itself is hefty enough without it, maybe. Check out the full balance and patch notes on the Shifting Snows website.
