Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance is coming west.

Disgaea 5 will release on PS4 in the west in northern autumn 2015, NIS America has released.

The news comes via the PlayStation Blog, and unfortunately there's little else to report at present. We do have some story details, though.

"Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance brings together a completely new cast of characters to tell a tale of rebellion and revenge," NIS said.

"As a new and terrible Overlord named Void Dark seeks to enslave the countless Netherworlds, one young demon has stood to end his reign — Killia. In Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance, you will lead Killia and his tenacious army of rebels in their struggle against Dark Void. Along their dark path to vengeance, you will encounter more hilarious writing, over-the-top animations, and absurd damage numbers than anyone has seen in a Disgaea game. Ever."

Disgaea 5 is expected in Japan in March, so it looks like we'll have about a six month wait for localisation.
