DOOM's 21st Anniversary celebrated with photos and rare game assets

It's the 21st Anniversary of DOOM and to celebrate the game, designer John Romero has released some behind-the-scenes images of the development team and some artwork.

Gotta love those fresh faces and 1993 haridos as well as the in-game assets which were never included in the final game.

All images were released via Twitter by Romero, but Gamespot has posted the entire lot.

The next game in the series, which is being called DOOM instead of DOOM 4, is in development at id Software for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

More information on the game is expected sometime next year.
