Dead Island 2 will have a beta sometime next year, and now we know that it will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive for 30 days.
The information comes from the FAQ posted on the beta’s website. The site serves as a code redemption tool for players to guarantee access to the beta. It also mentions a 30-day exclusivity period for PS4 owners. After that, the beta will be available on PC and Xbox One.
At present, the only way to guarantee access is to buy Escape Dead Island, which comes with a beta code. There is also no date as of yet for when it will start.
Considering Deep Silver’s alignment with Sony for Dead Island 2, we may hear something about that beta during the PlayStation Experience event over the weekend.
