Another Halo: The Master Chief Collection matchmaking patch coming this week

Halo: The Master Chief Collection's matchmaking is certainly working a lot better than it used to, but it's not fixed yet.

You can now regularly find a Halo: The Master Chief Collection multiplayer match, but the system is not totally smooth and some people are still struggling to play at all.

In an update the the Halo Waypoint post tracking 343 Industries' investigation of the bundle's issues, the developer said a new patch is on the way to further address matchmaking woes.

"The team continues development and testing of upcoming content updates, the next of which will specifically make improvements to the matchmaking system and flow," 343 wrote.

"This particular update is on track for delivery this week. We will provide more details on the exact ETA, included fixes, and additional upcoming content updates in the near future."

Now that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is almost working it might be worthwhile taking advantage of this month's Xbox Live Rewards offer of $15 credit back on Halo purchases made in December.
