Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare moved 147,016 combined units in Japan for debut

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare stormed the Media Create charts in Japan with its debut, knocking Monster Hunter 4 off its throne.

The PS3 version sold 79,586 units, and the PS4 version came in third with 64,060 units sold. The Xbox One version debuted in 19th place and moved 3,370 units. Combined, the shooter moved 147,016 units total.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection also debuted on Xbox One and moved 4,867 units, coming in at number 15.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 debuted in second place on PS3 with 71,303 units moved. Other debuts for the week were:One Piece: Super Grand Battle! X, Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Hanayamata Yosakoi Live! and more.

Many hardware offerings saw a spike thanks to the news releases, with Vita knocking New 3DS out of second place It slide to fifth, behind Wii U.

New 3DS LL was still the top seller for the week with 38,457 units moved despite a decline in sales.

Vita sales went from 9,874 the week prior to 19,301; PS4 jumped from 10,078 units to 15,537 units, Wii U sales were up over 10,000 units and 3DS LL and PS3 sales also spiked.

Thanks to the new Xbox One releases, the console moved 2,245 units compared to 513 units the week prior.
