Counter-strike: Global Offensive launches Operation Vanguard

Counter-strike: Global Offensive players can try out community maps and go on campaign missions to collect new content.

The Counter-strike: Global Offensive Operation Vanguard pass will set you back $6.

The pass gives you access to Operation Campaigns, which are tracked in a journal. These structured mission paths will reward you with Operation Vanguard Cases or weapon drops when completed.

The pass grants you access to two missions per week, as well as optional Campaigns with additional weekly missions. The more you achieve within Campaigns, the more you can upgrade your Operation Vanguard Challenge coin, which is apparently a thing you want to do.

The pass also offers a competitive scorecard to track your Vanguard and Active Duty performance and a friends leaderboard, as well as access to community maps.

More information is available on the Operation Vanguard mini-site and Counter-strike blog.
