Nintendo Japan has announced a third batch of Amiibo figures will release on January 22, so we can expect them in the west around the same date. Here's the list:

  • Bowser
  • Ike
  • King DeDeDe
  • Lucario
  • Meta Knight
  • Rosalina & Luma
  • Sheik
  • Toon Link

A fourth batch is coming sometime in February, and will include Mega Man, Shulk and Sonic.

The first set of Amiibo figures arrives with Super Smash Bros. Wii U on November 21 in North America and November 28 in Europe. The second batch is coming to Europe on December 19, but we don't have a date for North America beyond "December" yet.

In the UK, six figures will be available in the third wave: Bowser, Ike, Lucario, Rosalina, Sheik and Toon Link on January 23.

The fourth wave in the UK will include King Dedede, Mega Man, Meta Knight, Shulk and Sonic on February 20.

Amiibo are NF-enabled figurines that hook up to your Wii U. They'll unlock various pieces of content in Hyrule Warriors, Mario Kart 8, and Super Smash Bros. Wii U, as well as later titles Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Mario Party 10, Yoshi's Woolly World and Kirby and the Rainbow Curse.
