Assassin's Creed: Rising Phoenix Easter Egg found in Rogue - report

Assassin's Creed: Rising Phoenix probably isn't a real thing, but that hasn't stopped Ubisoft cheekily slipping another reference to it into the series.

Assassin's Creed: Rogue contains a poster for the mythical Assassin's Creed: Rising Phoenix, according to PS Vita Blog.

Unfortunately, we're pretty sure this is just an example of Ubisoft's sense of humour.

Assassin's Creed: Rising Phoenix popped up early last year as a single image. The image was later found to be a fan mock up, but not before a retailer got a bit excited and posted a listing for the supposed Vita game, adding fuel to the fire.

We're almost certain the project doesn't actually exist, but Ubisoft slyly added a poster to it in the Abstergo offices in Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. It's not a surprise to see it pop up again in Rogue.

Both Assassin's Creed: Unity and Assassin's Creed: Rogue release on November 11 in North America and November 14 in Europe and beyond.
