Guild Wars 2 already hosts its own eSports tournament, the World Tournament Series, but the ArenaNet MMO is yet to make it to many third-party leagues.

Thanks to a new deal with the Electronic Sports League or ESL, that may be changing.

The ESL has announced a Go4 Guild Wars 2 cup for the Americas and Europe, with $25,000 in prizes available across the two regions. Games will be played every Sunday, offering weekly prizes of $500/€500, with a monthly final offering $1,500/€1,500.

If you're keen to participate, visit the ESL for more information. The ESL suggests using its series as training for the World Tournament.
