The PS3 version debuted in third with 59,388 units sold; the PS4 version was fourth with 59,204 units sold; the Xbox One version came in at 13 with 3,233 units sold; and finally, the Xbox 360 version came in 17th with 2,319 united moved.

In total, The Evil Within moved 124,144 units which if combined would mean the game took second place behind Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate which moved 172,348 units for the week.

While it was interesting for an Xbox title to land in the top 20 on the chart, the horror title didn't cause an uptick in Xbox One sales. The console sold 115 units less than it did the prior reporting period.

Xbox 360 sales were up by one unit over last week.

Hardware offerings outside of the PlayStation family declined week-over-week, with the exception of the aging PSP handheld.

PlayStation 4 sales hit 8,942 units (8,046) while PlayStation 3 sales should a slight uptick with 5,138 units (4,779) sold.

Vita was the big winner for the PS family: the base unit moved 12,230 united compared to 8,761 units the prior week. PS TV moved 795 units (630) for the week.

New 3DS LL and New 3DS remained the top hardware sellers despite the week-over-weej decline by moving 59,386 and 21,281 units, respectively.
