Scrolls final release expected in November

Scrolls, Mojang's card battler, is almost ready for proper grown up release.

Scrolls has been available in beta form since early June 2013, but is on its way to the magical version 1.0.

“The guesstimate is late November, but we’re not going to release it until it’s ready, if you know what I mean," Mojang's Owen Hill told TouchArcade.

Development on Scrolls will continue beyond the full release, with Mojang saying Microsoft is "super enthusiastic" about the project and hasn't made any nosies about interfering with Mojang's plans for it.

The "final" version of the game should release on Android and iOS tablets at the same time as Mac and PC, but a smartphone version will follow at a later date.

The desktop version support cross-save with the tablet version. The tablet version will be free-to-play, but you'll need to fork out $5 to be able to set up a profile and play a full game if you don't already own the desktop version.
