These videos demonstrate how to use Amiibo figurines in Super Smash Bros. Wii U

After Nintendo finished its Super Smash Bros. Wii U Nintendo Direct last night, the firm released two new videos demonstrating how to use the firm's Amiibo figurines with the brawler.

The first one shows how to scan the figurine into the game and participate in battles. The second one also touches upon how the Amiibo characters work, but it's a shorter watch.

A third video was also released last night and it demonstrates how to grab Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 off the eShop.

Nintendo announced last night Super Smash Bros. Wii U will have eight-player battles in offline mode, as well as five-player mode.

It was a very thorough session and you can read the full report through here.
