Let Spec Ops dev Yager explain its new spaceship combat game, Dreadnought

Dreadnought has the player captaining huge ships in multiplayer battles. Find out how it all works in the commentated video below.

Dreadnought is the latest project from Yager Development, which you may remember from Spec Ops: The Line. It's also responsible for the upcoming Dead Island 2.

This is quite a different kind of thing. If you enjoy the ship battles in Assassin's Creed, or are eyeing off the space combat in Star Citizen and Elite: Dangerous, this may ring your bells.

It's helpful to have director Peter Holzapfel and designer Eino Joas explain precisely what's going on in this round of team deathmatch. There are several different classes of ship, and you get to see how a couple of them play.

Dreadnought is due on PC in 2015 and will support 5v5 multiplayer as well as a full single-player campaign. It's coming to us via Grey Box, a somewhat mysterious new publisher also behind Petroglyph's Grey Goo.
