A volcano erupts in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's Recovery multiplayer map

Recovery is the latest multiplayer map reveal for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and it has a volcano.

According to a first-look from IGN, the map contains a research station set within the mountains of Hawaii. It has quite a few hallways and close quarters.

Once the volcano erupts, the map will be filled with poisonous gas which means players will need to evacuate the area through a safety gate, all the while battling others and trying to meet objectives.

Per IGN, the second part of the map isn't as confined as there is more open space and longer lines of sight. Rifles will come in handy in this section, because such weapons aren't a good choice in close quarters. Obviously. Anyone who has ever played these games or shot a rifle in real life knows this, right?

A video featuring the map along with Sledgehammer Games' lead multiplayer designer, Greg Residorf is through the link.

Call of Duty: Advanced warfare is coming to PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on November 4.
