Halo 2 map Zanzibar will be remastered for Halo Master Chief Collection

Here's another announcement out of San Diego Comic Con: the competitive multiplayer map Zanzibar from Halo 2 will be remastered for Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

The Halo 2: Anniversary campaign included in the collection has been "completely re-mastered" and the Zanzibar map has been re-imagined.

Other multiplayer maps already announced for the Halo 2 portion are Ascension and Coagulation. This makes three of the six re-imagined Halo 2 multiplayer maps found in Halo: The Master Chief Collection announced thus far. Another will be announced at gamescom in August.

Attendees at the SDCC panel were also given a first-look at a trailer featuring the overhauled Halo 2: Anniversary cut-scenes.

It's above.

Halo:The Master Chief Collection will release on Xbox One November 11.
