Halo 2′s Coagulation will return in Halo: The Master Chief Collection, more details

343 Industries brought Halo: The Master Chief Collection to the Rooster Teeth Expo over the weekend, and revealed a lot of new details about the remastered Halo 2 maps along with a brand new vehicle.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection will include a remastered version of Halo 2 and its multiplayer and we now have more details about the included maps. Halo 2: Anniversary will include six remastered maps, including Coagulation and Ascension. Halo 2: Anniversary will also include multiplayer modes Ricochet, Race, SWAT and Infection, along with the classic Halo 2 modes.

The Anniversary edition of Halo 2 will also bring with it the Gungoose, which is basically the Mongoose with front-mounted guns, have a look:

    I recognize the names of these maps but not how these maps look. I just looked at the Ascension video, and as soon as it came on, a flood of memories of the great times I had on that map ran through my mind.
    This collection of Halo single player/ multi-player gaming, starting from Halo one to Halo four is going to be huge!!! All other FPS sales will probably suffer somewhat due to this collection. It’s a good thing that Destiny is being released when it is. I predict a sharp drop off in gaming once this Halo beast is released.

    I hate to be this guy, but RTX just stands for RTX. Gus Sorola has said plenty of times that it doesn’t stand for anything.

    But very awesome nontheless! :D
