Become a defender of Eorzea when Patch 2.3 for Final Fantasy 14 goes live in July

Square Enix has released a video and few screenshots for Final Fantasy 14 Patch 2.3 “Defenders of Eorzea”. Gaze in wonder at the loveiness below.

New additions with the update include a new Primal against Ramuh; the Hullbreaker Isle outdoor dungeon; a hard mode dungeon which takes you deeper into the stone vigil; the ability to re-spec your Chocobo; another hard mode dungeon called Tam-Tara Deepcroft; the Desynthesis skill; and finally, the ability to hunt “some of the most notorious marks in all of Eorzea.”

It looks as though Square is still holding back some information on the update, as the only tabs clickable are for Ramuh the Lord of Levin and Dungeons. Hunts, Chocobo Raising and Private Chambers are still greyed out.

The update will arrive on Tuesday, July 8.
