Somebody tell Microsoft the Batman: Arkham Knight release date is a secret

Batman: Arkham Knight isn’t supposed to have a release date yet, but that hasn’t stopped Microsoft posting one.

Rocksteady’s first next-gen game was pushed back when Batman: Arkham Knight was delayed into 2015.

Warner Bros. hasn’t supplied a new release date, but according to the Microsoft Store we can expect it on February 24 – at least on Xbox One.

The date was spotted and screengrabbed by NeoGAF users over the weekend, but at time of writing the listing had not been altered. Whoops.

Batman: Arkham Knight is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

So Witcher 3, The Order, and Batman within 4 days of each other? Good lord, guess we know when “next gen” truly begins. Ouch… My wallet.

Since publishers started moving releases out of the holiday period, February and March are always a clusterf- *cough* a very busy time.

Am I the only one that thinks releasing the game on same day that Witcher 3 will be released does not make any sense at all. After all both of this games are being distributed by the same company. Its one thing to compete against other companies but with yourself?

@Booraz they’re pretty different games, and although WB is handling The Witcher 3 in North America, the date would be said internationally. There may be a few people who struggle to pick between the two but I think both will sell like hotcakes anyway.

@Brenna Hillier I am not saying the will do badly but i am saying they would do better if they were sold month apart. Its not like WB have to many games to struggle with scheduling. Games are different but there is quite a lot of people who would like both of them.
