The plug is being pulled on F2P Ridge Racer Driftopia servers in August

Servers for Bandai Namco's free-to-play Ridge Racer Driftopia will be shutdown come August 15, the firm has announced.

Ridge Racer Driftopia

In beta since August of last year and on PlayStation 3 and Steam Early Access since September, it's unclear what the future holds for the Bugbear Entertainment title.

"All the feedbacks will be taken into account for the upcoming projects," read statement from Bandai Namco per Eurogamer.

Unlike many Early Access titles, it didn't cost to play, but it was F2P so that makes sense.

You have until the plug is pulled on the servers if you want to try it out.
