Show off your Xbox One achievements on Xbox.com

The latest Xbox One update seems to have had an unexpected consequence: more bragging rights.

The July Xbox One Update seemed mainly focused on streamlining the user experience rather than introducing startling new features, but it does seem to have one kind of cool knock on effect for achievements.

If you visit your achievements page on Xbox.com, you can now view achievements earned on Xbox One in addition to Xbox 360.

Clicking on individual game titles takes you through to a list of achievements, where you can view the associated art. Some of the images are perfectly lovely, and although not quite big enough to turn into wallpapers, could make pretty cool user icons or be used in fan art, if that’s your bag.

Thanks, Polygon.

Hot damn did I love Asura’s Wrath.
El Shaddai too, but I never got around to finishing it.

On topic, it’s nice that there’s now an official option to do & see something offered by several unaffiliated sites.

I enjoy having the achievements to shoot for but hadn’t been bothering to show them off, but then last Sunday the guy behind me in church taps my shoulder to ask “How on Earth did you get all the gold medals in co-op?” The topic was Halo Spartan Assault which we just got for free.

I have to admit, I felt like kind of a badass in that moment, lol. Church is probably not the right place for badassdom, but there it was. So anyway, I now enjoy the friend feed showing off my achievements for me when others log in.
