FIFA World Cup inspires World of Tanks World Football Championship mode

World of Tanks has caught FIFA World Cup fever, introducing a whole new, rather silly mode.

World Football Championship mode is sort of like regular World of Tanks only there's a football and a pair of goals. Players form squads of three and spend seven minutes battling it out; the first team to reach three goals wins.

If you choose to participate (honestly, why wouldn't you?) you'll score a custom created Tier 1 T-62A Sport, and have the chance to earn unique achievements and a Football Player 2014 medal.

You have until July 13 to take advantage.
