Check out four more mega evolutions from Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire

Thursday, 12th June 2014 22:55 GMT By Brenna Hillier

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire sure is packing in the mega evolutions – the latest Pokemon to receive the powerful variations are Sceptile, Swampert, Blaziken and the imported Mega Diancie. See their new forms below.

Mega evolutions were introduced with Pokemon X & Y and seem to be pretty popular; have you seen Sableye’s Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire mega evolution yet?

Full remakes of the classic Pokemon Red and Blue with new adventures thrown in, the 3DS exclusive Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire hits most territories on November 21, but won’t reach Europe until November 28.

Thanks, Kotaku.

I’m always going to love pokemon, but there are too many games and I feel a little lost and confused, I was so confused, I thought this was a variation of the game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iwnDDe2pYw maybe that’s a mega evolution XD

I still can’t stop seeing this as Digivolution. Thus, my mind continues to play “Pokémon, Pocket Monsters, Pokémon are the champions!” whenever I watch something dig–mega-evolve. And I actually feel bad for Digimon, because this was Digimon’s thing.

But yeah, I’m a massive Pokémon fan myself, and X/Y has been the best of the series, for me, the only games to top Ruby/Sapphire. So, Ruby/Sapphire made in the X/Y engine? Hm, yes please. I doubt they’ll have a number of the fun features from those games, though, like the customisation, Amie, Battle Château, Special Training, and so on.

That’s the part that might ruin this, for me, because after the relatively grind-free (which I very much appreciate) X and Y, thanks to features like those, I don’t think I could ever go back to how things were. However, if the new Ruby and Sapphire have at least the Battle Château, Special Training, and Amie, then I’ll be as happy as a clam!
