Yep, Toys for Bob are back! I really enjoyed SwapForce as a game, but I felt that the characters were by far the weakest of the series. They were good, but when you’re comparing it to the critters TfB trotted out, they’re lacklustre. Context is important!

You can tell Toys for Bob is back right away, just from the clever character designs alone. This sort of zaniness wasn’t present in SwapForce, it felt much more conservative by comparison. That was the biggest disappointment about it, but I guess not everyone can be TfB. So, yeah, I’m glad they’re back.

And Wolfgang attacks using the power of metal via guitar and harp. I am all over that. I want a werewolf that can play heavy metal on a harp. And do drop-skids… with a harp.

So… nice to see Toys for Bob back, Skylanders has lost that slight bit of genericness that Vicarious Visions brought to the franchise.

Also, Piñata person with a lollipop who can spew confetti. I can dig that, too.
