Mortal Kombat X debut footage was shown for PS4 during Sony’s E3 presentation. Watch below.

In the video you will notice a lady who controls bees, and a man with a small creature on his back. We don’t yet have details as to who these two characters are, but we know they’re new because 01) brains and 02) NetherRealm told us so.

Interestingly, Sony introduced this first gameplay video as “Mortal Kombat Ecks” – so that’s not a ten, I guess. Mortal Kombat X will be available in 2015, on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, according to retail listings.

They took alot of ideas from Injustice, like interactive environments. Awesome :D
    Also digging the new characters.

This feels rather cartoonish. Then again, as long as there is awesome gore and insane moves, I’m in. The gameplay looks a bit slower than MK9 but also, more intriguing. The only element that felt truly unfortunate was the burden of cross-gen visuals. This should have been PS4 / XB1 / PC only :(

Aside from that last nagging point, I really liked it. Even the new characters (As out-of-the-left-field as they felt).
