Mario Maker image leaks from E3 show floor

Mario Maker has leaked ahead of Nintendo’s E3 2014 showing, according to a photo posted from the event floor.

The artwork shows a person’s hand placing a piranha plant into a Mario level using their stylus, meaning the game could come to either the Nintendo 3DS or Wii U.

Does this suggest that Nintendo is working on a title that enables gamers to make their own Mario stages like LittleBigPlanet?

That’s what the rumour mill thinks, but what about you? Let us know below, ad if you want to watch Nintendo’s E3 broadcast, you’ll find all the times and stream details here.

I used to sketch out my own Mario levels on paper when I was really young, so if true, this is like some sort of dream project for me. Bring it on :D

Mario Maker would have made my LIFE as a kid.

Don’t really have time for these building/design type games anymore, but if it is what it looks like, it should be a big hit.

@Digital Bamboo Yeah it actually makes perfect sense, given all the homebrew Mario games out there. If that’s what this is I’m going to play the shit out of it.

This is brilliant, I like the idea of a mario like this, but it will be as good as Minecraft?, only time will tell. In the meantime I hope to see more games, or graphic adventure games that look like this:
