Final Fantasy 14 PS4: Novus Weapons are here! Patch 2.3 debuting at E3

Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn players on PlayStation 4 can now download Patch 2.28. But what if you are curious over what's coming next? Square Enix has you covered, luckily.

As you no doubt already know, Patch 2.28 adds new Novus Weapons and the ability to repair during raids. Zodiac weapons can be acquired if your character is of the appropriate level, and the repair function in raids can also up your weapon durability by 199%.

There are steps to be taken for both additions, obviously, so read the patch notes.

As far as Patch 2.3 “Defenders of Eorzea” is concerned, the update will be fully revealed at E3 next week, but Square was keen to give you a taste of what's to come ahead of time.

New additions include a new Primal against Ramuh; the Hullbreaker Isle outdoor dungeon; a hard mode dungeon which takes you deeper into the stone vigil; the ability to re-spec your Chocobo; another hard mode dungeon called Tam-Tara Deepcroft; the Desynthesis skill; and finally, the ability to hunt "some of the most notorious marks in all of Eorzea."

Again, there will be more revealed at E3, so be sure to keep at least one eye firmly set on your PC screen.
