LEGO Batman 3 takes you Beyond Gotham and into space: video

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham has been announced for a fall release on PC, consoles and handhelds.

In Beyond Gotham, Batman joins forces with other DC Comics Universe characters as they blast off into space to stop Brainiac from destroying Earth.

Using the power of the Lantern Rings, Brainiac shrinks worlds to add to his twisted collection of miniature cities from across the universe.

Super heroes and villains alike will need to unite and journey to different Lantern Worlds to collect the Lantern Rings and stop Brainiac before it’s too late.

Players will unlock more than 150 characters from the DC universe, including members of the Justice League and figures such as Killer Croc, Solomon Grundy and many more.

New gadgets and abilities are also on offer, and players can explore the Hall of Justice, the Batcave and the Justice League Watchtower and access Batman’s training modules on the Bat Computer and take part in various challenges, battles and races.

LEGO game sales have reached more than 100 million units worldwide.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is in development for 3DS, PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, PS Vita, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
