Friday, 23rd May 2014 08:56 GMT By Dave Cook

Ratchet & Clank’s PS3 adventures are being bundled into a new bundle in Japan, called The Ratchet & Clank: Galaxy Strongest Tristar Pack. Rolls off the tongue doesn’t it?

It follows this UK retail listing for the Ratchet & Clank Trilogy on PS Vita. There’s also some pack art for you to check out.

Here’s the new PS3 bundle:

It includes Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty, Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, and Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus.

Sony is releasing the pack on June 12 at ¥4,800 and it’s not releasing outside of Japan at this time.

Aww fuck! I was sure that this was gonna be the main games trilogy, complete with the long awaited trophy support for the first game, but I guess I’ll have to wait another year or so for it to surface on PS4, remastered in 1080p 60FPS or something.

    I KNOW it’s coming!

Um? When you say ‘main games,’ do you mean Ratchet & Clank, Going Commando, and Up Your Arsenal (also known as 2 and 3 in the Eu for the latter games)? If so, I happen to own that collection, and the first game does indeed have trophy support. It has trophies for getting all the bolts, skill points (individually), getting a million bolts, and a bunch of other things.

You may be referring to Tools of Destruction with your ‘first game’ comment, though. In which case… no luck, sorry. Then again, that wasn’t a trilogy. That was two main games (Tools of Destruction and Crack in Time), and two lower budget games (Quest for Booty, and Into the Nexus). So I’m not sure which you’re talking about.

Also, we’re unlikely to see a PS4 remake of any of the games. From my understanding, they’re going to be doing a reboot based upon the upcoming movie franchise. I’m really not sure if I have a lot of faith in that, since aesthetically I’m not a fan of what they did with Ratchet (his expressions are softer and he’s much less sassy).

    So, we’ll see, I guess.
