Arctic Camouflage Xbox 360 controller probably won't hide you in the snow

Arctic Camouflage is supposed to "mimic snow-covered environments" so that enemies or hungry polar bears won't be able to see you. Should you decide to play your Xbox 360 in the middle of the arctic, this new controller probably won't help you blend in.

Why you'd be playing a console in the snow anyway is anyone's guess, and beyond impossible anyway, but if you are into camo, you're likely to dig the new pattern.

Here's the word on it:

  • Camouflage design inspired by snow-covered environments
  • Transforming D-pad that switches from plus to disc for better control
  • Special edition wireless controller with 30-foot range

Microsoft didn't provide a release date. It only stated the controller was "coming soon" for an estimated retail price of $54.99.
