Tom Clancy’s The Division delayed to 2015 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC

Thursday, 15th May 2014 17:46 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Tom Clancy’s The Division will be available in 2015 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC after being expected in northern autumn.

The delay is due to the development team not wishing to “compromise on quality” so it will “release the game when it’s ready.”

“Working on The Division is a once in a lifetime opportunity for all of us at Massive, Reflections, and Red Storm Entertainment. We are creating something we are really proud of and we don’t want to compromise on quality. We are going to release the game when it’s ready,” reads the official statement.

The game was announced last year for PS4 and Xbox One at E3 2013 and more news on the game is expected during E3 2014 next month.

Just enough time to downgrade the graphics and make them 792p at 30fps!

    Doesn’t surprise me tbh.

    Want to what?

Never really a date announced or even a month so this doesn’t really affect me much. Sure, I’d still like to play it at some point. Watch Dogs, Child of Light and AC: Unity are still solid games to come from Ubisoft in 2014.

I think this is more a result of Ubisoft’s release schedule than anything. Especially now that Farcry has a window. They don’t need to release it this year.

If you jinx it, i will raise the torches and pitchforkes.

Topic: So we can agree? Next gen starts in 2015 with the Witcher III kicking things off and this year will be the year of cross gen/remasters/ports.

@12: I don’t get the hype around that franchise. I played KH 1.5 HD ReMIX and I hated that game with a passion. Can you explain what the big deal about it is?
