Yo-kai Watch and 3DS LL once again Media Create darlings

Wednesday, 14th May 2014 18:26 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Yo-kai Watch was once again the top seller on the Media Create charts, as was 3DS LL. There were no new releases of the week, and hardware sales were down compared to the prior week. Hardware sales were rather lackluster during Golden Week, and not much better for the current reporting period. Full thing is below.

Well this is slightly depressing, home consoles don’t stand a chance and handhelds are Japan’s bread and butter.

3DS sales are fine, but it is following the same downward sales trend the DS experienced suring the same point in time.

PS Vita sales are good, and should remain at around 15000-20000 per week.

PS4 sales are dropping. Pretty soon, it will be selling less than the Wii U, especially when Mario Kart 8 hits. If Sony expects to sell 17 million consoles this fiscal year, they will need more Japanese oriented games for PS4.
