Soul Sacrifice Delta out now - see what's new in the revised RPG

Soul Sacrifice Delta is the latest game to get an enhanced re-release within a few years of launching - something of a growing trend. Let's see what Keiji Inafune and the team at SCE Japan Studio have packed in to inspire you to give the Vita RPG another try.

Sony's already shared details of the Grim faction and various improvements, but a new PlayStation Blog post goes into detail on new features.

Browse Librom's pages to discover the Bazaar Ledger. This is where you can purchase new raiment items, have your palm read, get quest-altering rumours, leave or claim gifts, and embark on special quests to repay your debts.

"If you’re lucky, you may even bump into old friends," Sony teased.

The Bazaar Ledger also includes the Faction Power Balance, where you can log your Slayer points to contribut to a global factional battle. Each week, prizes will be awarded to members of the winning faction, with special rewards for the most valuable players.

Meanwhile, in the Sorcerous Deeds, there's a new survival dungeon mode called Alice’s Eternal Maze. If that's not enough of a challenge check out Blank Page mode, which generates new random pacts in return for offering and lacrima, and can be played online or alone. You can unlock new blank pages by purchasing Memory Clod (also available in a bundle), although Sony says a technical hitch means they won't be available on the PS Store till May 20.

The re-release also includes other new content - quests, archfiends and more. Along with all that, if you buy in during the first four weeks, you'll receive the Soulbinder Costume, Magic Helm, Wizard’s Hat, Golden Mask, Possessed Mask and Slave Clothes - raiment exclusive to Delta.

"I’m happy how the game turned out so I’m confident that players in the West will also enjoy the game. With the introduction of additional faction Grim and the dynamics among three factions, players across the world will belong to one of the three factions and vie with each other, fighting against new monsters," creator Keiji Infaune said.

"I hope all of you will be immersed in the world of Soul Sacrifice Delta and enjoy the game to the fullest.”

You can grab Soul Sacrifice Delta on the North American PlayStation Store from today, for $36. Here's the launch trailer.
