Bound By Flame reviews are live, and it appears that Spiders’ new RPG has left critics feeling a tad cold. Get all the scores as they drop in our round-up.

Here’s the score round-up in full:

Wow, I was really expecting this to do better. Nothing from IGN yet it looks like.

Did SoftPedia play the same game as the rest of them?

  13. Dog4life

Very generic RPG and pretty mediocre graphics on nextgen platforms.

i’m waiting for Wolfenstein.. if i want a good rpg, rather play child of light or dark souls 2 !!!

I’m guessing your superiority comes from your psychic powers, which tell you how good things are before you’ve bought them.

Looks like a cheap buy or rental for me. I’m wondering if it will be like Two Worlds was, where it got lame scores but I played that game to the end and all the side stuff, hundreds of hours.

  18. Game Hunter

Personally I’m enjoying it so far.good graphics(not the best I know),challenging combat and interesting companions (although the witch Edwen is clearly a Morrigan clone from Dragon Age:Origins).I completely agree with Dave’s impressions. If you’re dry on RPGs(Dark Souls II doesn’t look like a RPG to me)this game is something good to chew on.

i will get it nontheless, games like dark sector, two worlds, alpha protocol, dark void, etc that had bad reviews, i ended enjoy them a lot. nowadays when i read reviews i dont see scores, i just see if it has bugs, or a broken gameplay, if there is a overall consensus on those criterias like in naugthy bear, i will skip it. the rest for me is irrelevant, very subjective views that clouds the picture.

  21. Darkfield

Hah! I was right after all, it is crap.

  22. GrimRita

And people believe reviews why? No advertising spend = below average scores. Had Spider spent some dollar on a banner of editorial, I’m certain those muppets at gamespot and future would have scored this 8 or a 9 regardless

  23. Darkfield

@GrimRita It has nothing to do with advertisements budget, the game isn’t good, in fact it is even worse than Mars: War Logs, another medicare piece of unimaginative software they made.
