Nintendo demonstrates the Wii U’s new quick-boot function – video

Nintendo will offer a new quick-boot option in a future Wii U update. The firm has posted a clip that shows the streamlined process in action.

It follows the reveal of Nintendo’s new NFC-scanner, which will enable gamers to scan figures of their favourite Nintendo characters into their 3DS and transfer them to Wii U. We’ve got full details of the device through the link.
