The 7th Guest 3 crowdfunding campaign launches, original licensed for film and television

The agreement with Angel Valley Media will see the firm license The 7th Guest for film and television treatments.

"The 7th Guest is a landmark in gaming history," said Angel Valley president Matthew Lewis. "Bringing Henry Stauf and the rich universe of the series to life in film was inevitable.

"We'll be working side-by-side with Trilobyte Games to give players a new look into Stauf's world, with new storylines and characters tightly interwoven with the game series."

Now about the crowdfunding initiative: in the world of The 7th Guest 3: The Collector, you re-enter the mysterious Stauf mansion, newly remodeled and filled with classic Stauf games, toys, diabolical puzzles and artifacts.

The team working on the game consists of series veterans and new additions, and is in development for iOS, Linux, Mac, and PC.

Trilobyte Games has posted the project on CrowdtiltOpen, a new platform from the team behind Crowdtilt for Reddit, and as of press time, the project has earned $27,033 towards the $65,000 with 24 days left.
