The event will be held on June 9, and although the publisher didn't supply a time in its latest press release, previous reports expect it to kick off at 1:00PM PT.

Fans will be able to watch the briefing live via EA's E3 hub, Spike's E3 channel or Twitch.

CEO Andrew Wilson will host the hour long program, which will feature ""never-before-seen content from EA’s upcoming games as well as sneak peeks at new projects and intellectual properties currently in development".

During its post-earnings release conference call with investors today, E3 said it had six games to show, including Star Wars Battlefront and a mysterious new Frostbite Engine-powered game due for release in northern autumn - the shooter gap, in other words.
