ANNO coming to iPad as ANNO: Build an Empire

ANNO, the city-builder strategy game from Blue Byte, will soon be available on iPad as ANNO: Build an Empire.

Developed in collaboration with Mi’pu’mi Games, the franchise has been rebuilt from the ground up to be compatible with mobile gameplay, featuring a touchscreen interface.

Like its predecessors, players will have to look at all options and deal with the consequences of their choices when creating cities.

Taverns must be built to keep citizens happy and stress-free, and churches will even need to be built to satisfy "the need for religion."

Players start off with one island, and once they become skilled, additional islands can be built.

Social elements from previous ANNO titles will also be incorporated into the game and players will have a chance to challenge friends and foes alike, by inviting them to take part in the stand-alone experience.

ANNO: Build an Empire is available on iPad 2 or higher and requires at least iOS6 and an internet connection to play.
