Ouya adds Playcast game streaming service, has signed with several big publishers

Ouya has received its own equivalent to PlayStation Now and OnLive thanks to Playcast. The service will allow gamers to stream triple-a content through the micro console, and has allegedly signed deals with such publishers as EA, Ubisoft, Warner Bros, Konami and Square Enix.

CVG reports that the Playcast service currently offers streamed versions of Lego Batman 2 and Splinter Cell: Conviction via Ouya.

Playcast Media stated it has signed streaming deals with EA, Ubisoft, Konami, Warner Bros, 2K, Namco Bandai, Square Enix, Capcom, Codemasters, Disney, Sega, Atari and will also offer THQ's old titles.

There's no details beyond this, such as a date for the service coming out of beta, or further titles, but we'll update you once we know more.
