DayZ Standalone has sold over 2 million copies on Steam, Dean Hall announced on Twitter. “Just over 2 years ago the DayZ mod released. Today, the Standalone game just broke 2 million units in under 6 months,” he tweeted. In January, it was announced sales had passed 800,000 in under one month after it managed  88,000 sales in tis first 12 hours, 172,200 sales in its first 24 hours, and topped the Steam charts at Christmas on the back of 400,000 sales in its first week. It’s rather popular. Thanks, Gamasutra.
