Call of Duty: Ghosts' Bizon SMG to be patched, is currently banned from MLG play

Call of Duty: Ghosts fans have responded in force regarding the balancing of Infinity Ward's Bizon SMG weapon, to the point that the team has agreed to patch it down in a future update.

The confirmation came from Infinity Ward's Twitter:

Thanks for all the feedback! We'll have a Bizon change coming to #CODGhosts soon (ETA: next week). Stay tuned for more info.

One Twitter user has penned a large open letter to Infinity Ward, explaining why the Bizon had to be revisited, and may come as interesting to fans of the game. He makes a strong argument at any rate.

Meanwhile, MLG's executive vice-president Adam Apicella has confirmed that the Bizon is banned from competitive play until it's been fixed:

UPDATE: We have decided to restrict the Bizon for CoD Pro League until after the announced @InfinityWard weapon rebalance patch.
